As landscape and garden designers we have a passion for the outdoor environment that permeates all our work. The outdoor environment offers the variety and beauty of constantly changing conditions and seasonal evolution; producing an ever changing tapestry of colour, texture, light, sound and smell.

Through the careful and skilful use of materials and plants we can emphasise and use this constant change to create gardens and landscapes that inspire and invigorate.

Our aim is to create harmony between buildings, people and their surroundings and we pay particular attention to the links between interior and exterior space. We try to maximise the experience of the outdoor environment however detached from this a site may seem.

The existing qualities of a site are the starting point of any project. Every site has its own character, a ‘sense of place‘, defined by its location, topography, architecture, history, specific features and existing flora. We believe in a sensitive and sympathetic approach and to build on the positive aspects of a site; to create a design in context with its setting.

We are committed to creating better, sustainable environments for wildlife and people and believe it is always better to work with nature than against it. We seek to use only resources that are sustainable and ethical.

We appreciate and respond to the practical and budgetary requirements of our clients, as well as to the aesthetic potential of the site, and believe that regular communication and an open exchange of information is essential to achieving the best results.
